There are a myriad of other initiatives and actions we plan to take in the next few months. We will be sharing these with you as frequently as we can, and as precise as we can. We anticipate the most significant of these to be implemented in the near future. We also recognize that we aren't the best at communicating our actions and this is changing in the present. Although we are winning small victories by investing significant money and resources to fight this problem, we are not winning the battle. We are finding it difficult to keep pace with companies whose only business is getting bots to play their game 24 hours a day 7 days a week. As a result it is becoming clear to us despite our ongoing efforts.
This battle is not one that can be won alone. We need your help. What can you do to help? We would first like to hear from you in a coordinated manner on your ideas for how you can combat the bots problem. To better understand bots, we'll be creating surveys. We would love your feedback.
We would love to establish a forum where we can ask specific questions and get feedback about particular initiatives. We will notify you once the forum has been established and will invite anyone who is interested participants to join. We hope that you will inspire and encourage your friends in using the tools we provide you to help us ban spam bots, such as the Spam Filter.
We would also ask that you refrain from using bots or supporting gold farmers. Bots will disappear when there's no market. It is a matter of the courage to stand up against your friends, but it can be done with much greater eloquence than just standing up to Jagex.
