Downloading the committed client for Old School Runescape (I was shocked to learn you are also required to download software to play this iteration of Runescape), made my jaw drop. Old School Runescape came about when Jagex asked the community when the programmer should launch a backup copy of the game from 2007 and put it on another development branch. I am so thankful the community agreed, because this is exactly what I had been cravings.
Creating a new account conducted me through the tutorial island, killing cattle, mining iron, chopping wood, completing fundamental quests, and figuring out if I wished to be a magician or not. The graphics remain the same, while the UI was improved. The very best portion of Old School Runescape is your development process. The team shoots out polls to see what gamers wish to get added to the game, and ideas need 75 percent acceptance to be selected.
This is an excellent method of doing things and ensures that gamers are able to mold the game into the MMORPG they need.
